What is sexual violence?

Sexual violence is a term used for all sexual acts that someone is forced to do, undergo or see. It could be a sexual assault, rape, sexual abuse or online sexual violence. Sexual violence is also called sexual molestation or sexual coercion.

Why is it important to get help?

If you have experienced sexual violence, you have an increased risk of developing issues such as depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSS). Help can alleviate these lasting, negative feelings and problems. That is why it is never too late to get help.
